Next, the Bluejays play the Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI) in a Jack Pine challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Beavers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 13-12 league win over Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Farwell (Farwell, MI). The Eagles enter the Jack Pine challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Farwell was routed by Clare (Clare, MI), 10-0, in a league challenge.
