In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Russell Red Devils softball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Valley Indians.

The Red Devils (7-12) will now prepare for their match against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers go into the District 63 match with a 16-2 record. In their last match, Greenup County tipped Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 5-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 23. Valley will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Jeeps go into the match with a 7-7 record after their 5-3 league loss to Waverly (Waverly, OH).
