New Mexico High School Softball - Valencia bounces Valley

The Valencia Jaguars softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Valley Vikings to 14 in the Jaguars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Pius X for a 4A District 5 battle on Thursday, April 24. Valencia will confront a Sartans team coming off a 20-3 league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Sartans record now stands at 11-12.

With the loss, Valley moves to 9-12 on the season. The Vikings travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Huskies in a 4A District 6 battle on Thursday, April 24. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 12-7. Hope Christian lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
