Illinois High School Baseball - Beecher edges Reed-Custer

The Beecher Bobcats baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Reed-Custer Comets to 4 in the Bobcats non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bobcats now hold a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Illinois Lutheran for a River Valley test on Thursday, April 23. Beecher will play a Chargers team coming off a 20-0 league loss to Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 0-8.

With the defeat, Reed-Custer drops to 5-11 on the year. The Comets travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Illinois Central Eight test on Monday, April 27. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 11-4. Wilmington won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL)
