Indiana High School Baseball - Union County defeats Northeastern

In Wednesday's league game, the host Union County Patriots baseball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Northeastern Knights.

The Patriots (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Connersville nudged East Central (St. Leon, IN), 5-1, in a league game.

Next, the Knights play the Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 1. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 13-4 league loss to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN).
