New York High School Softball - Salem bounces Fort Edward

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Salem Generals softball team scored a tight 12-7 win over the Fort Edward Flying Forts.

The Generals (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Granville (Granville, NY). The Golden Horde come into the Adirondack match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Granville nipped Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY), 6-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Flying Forts battle the Warrensburg Burghers (Warrensburg, NY) in a Adirondack match, on Friday, April 24. Fort Edward will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Burghers come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 6-3 league loss to Granville (Granville, NY).
