The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) and the host Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA), observed Springfield's softball team prevail over Lower Merion by a tally of 10-0.

The Cougars (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Cardinal O'Hara knocked off Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA), 4-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Aces clash with the Baldwin Bears (Bryn Mawr, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 24. Lower Merion will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 9-5 league win over Academy-Notre Dame De Namur (Villanova, PA).
