The Cromwell Panthers crushed the visiting Westbrook Knights baseball team by a count of 9-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Branford for a Shoreline - Large bout on Saturday, April 24. Cromwell will face a Thunderbirds team coming off a 13-6 league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-1.
Next, the Knights face the East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT) in a Shoreline - Large bout, on Monday, April 26. Westbrook will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Bellringers enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
