Clinton Central Bulldogs (Michigantown, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 13-4 in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Caston for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 24. Clinton Central will face a Comets squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN). The Comets record now stands at 11-1.
With the loss, Tri-Central falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Rossville (Rossville, IN) to face the Hornets in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Saturday, April 24. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 5-2.
