New York High School Baseball - Shaker loses to Averill Park

In Saturday's league game, the host Averill Park Warriors baseball team scored a nice 11-2 victory over the Shaker Bison.

The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Blue Devils enter the Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Columbia was overwhelmed by Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY), 12-7, in a league battle.

The Bison now possess a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle on Wednesday, April 27. Shaker will play a Plainsmen squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 5-4.
