In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Centennial Spartans baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Little Elm Lobos.
The Spartans (18-10) will now prepare for their game against Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Wolves go into the 5A Region I District 8 game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Mansfield Timberview tipped Everman (Everman, TX), 10-6, in a league game.
The Lobos (5-13) will now prepare for their game against McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Lions go into the 6A Region I District 5 game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, McKinney by Boyd (McKinney, TX), 9-7, in a league game.
