In Saturday's non-league game, the host Vian Wolverines baseball team scored a tight 13-6 victory over the Checotah Wildcats.
The Wolverines (18-19) will now prepare for their game against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 15-21 record. In their last game, Poteau tipped Stigler (Stigler, OK), 3-1, in a league game.
The Wildcats (5-17) will now prepare for their game against Antlers (Antlers, OK). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 13-11 record. In their last game, Antlers was overwhelmed by Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK), 7-6, in a non-league game.
