Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Russell County upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Lakers travel to Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 23. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 12-6.
