The Downers Grove South Mustangs baseball team (Downers Grove, IL), was overwhelmed 15-5 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL)
The Lions now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Proviso West for a West Suburban - Silver outing on Monday, April 25. Lyons will face a Panthers team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
Next, the Mustangs face the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold outing, on Monday, April 25. Downers Grove South will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 1-9 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Proviso West (Hillside, IL).
