Illinois High School Baseball - Fieldcrest loses to Metamora

The Metamora Redbirds baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Fieldcrest Knights to 1 in the Redbirds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Redbirds (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Morton (Morton, IL). The Potters come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 13-3 record.
With the defeat, Fieldcrest falls to 2-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Lexington (Lexington, IL) to encounter the Minutemen in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Monday, April 25. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Lexington won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Fisher (Fisher, IL)
