Illinois High School Baseball - Providence Catholic loses to Homewood-Flossmoor

The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings the host Providence Catholic Celtics baseball team by a tally of 6-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockport for a Southwest Suburban - Red bout on Tuesday, April 26. Homewood-Flossmoor will face a Porters team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Porters record now stands at 8-1.

Next, the Celtics face the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue bout, on Monday, April 25. Providence Catholic will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 19-0 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
