The Plainfield East Bengals baseball team (Plainfield, IL), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL)
The Porters now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Homewood-Flossmoor for a Southwest Suburban - Red outing on Tuesday, April 26. Lockport will face a Vikings team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.
Next, the Bengals face the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a Southwest Prairie outing, on Monday, April 25. Plainfield East will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 12-7 record after their 7-1 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL).
