Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Putnam County upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Panthers host Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to battle the Mallards in a Tri-County test on Tuesday, April 26. The Mallards come into the test with a record of 9-5. Henry-Senachwine won 8-0 in their recent league test against Midland (Varna, IL)

With the defeat, St. Bede falls to 3-10 on the season. The Bruins host Kewanee (Kewanee, IL) to battle the Boilermakers in a Three Rivers test on Monday, April 25. The Boilermakers come into the test with a record of 8-4. Kewanee won 10-7 in their recent league test against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL)
