In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Waverly Tigers baseball team scored a tight 10-4 victory over the Unioto Shermans.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against South Webster (South Webster, OH). The Jeeps go into the Southern Ohio II game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, South Webster was overwhelmed by Valley (Lucasville, OH), 4-0, in a league game.
The Shermans (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Piketon (Piketon, OH). The Redstreaks go into the Scioto Valley game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Piketon was overwhelmed by Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH), 6-2, in a non-league game.
