The St. Patrick Shamrocks topped the host Elk Grove Grenadiers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Shamrocks now have a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles North for a non-league test on Saturday, April 23. St. Patrick will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 9-7.
The Grenadiers (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Grayslake North gained a win over Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
