The St. Francis Spartans volleyball team (Wheaton, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL)

The Bengals (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln-Way West nipped Reavis (Burbank, IL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans encounter the St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 23. St. Francis will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
