Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO), 14-6 in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Castle View for a 4A West battle on Tuesday, April 26. Evergreen will clash with a Sabercats squad coming off a 13-12 league win over Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 9-2.

In their next game, the Skiers clash with the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Mountain East battle, on Tuesday, April 26. Aspen will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 13-6 non-league win over Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO).
