In Saturday's non-league test, the host Farmington River Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-9 victory over the Bacon Academy Bobcats.
The River Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Trojans enter the Central Connecticut - North game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Simsbury was nudged by Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 7-5, in a non-league game.
