The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) and the host Olentangy Braves (Lewis Center, OH), witnessed Columbus Academy's lacrosse squad overcome Olentangy by a count of 20-13.
The Vikings now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Watterson for a Region 7 battle on Tuesday, April 26. Columbus Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 18-14 non-league loss to Mariemont (Cincinnati, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
In their next game, the Braves clash with the Marysville Monarchs (Marysville, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 26. Olentangy will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Monarchs come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 11-10 league win over Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH).
