The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks (Dublin, OH) and the host Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Dublin Coffman's lacrosse team nudge Shady Side Academy by a margin of 12-11.
The Shamrocks (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Olentangy Liberty edged Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH), 13-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The Foxes enter the WPIAL 3A 2 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Fox Chapel was tipped by Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA), 17-14, in a non-league challenge.
