The Riverside Beavers lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the visiting Mentor Cardinals to 7 in the Beavers non-league win on Saturday.
The Beavers (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers go into the Region 6 game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Chardon nudged Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH), 16-5, in a league game.
The Cardinals (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Solon (Solon, OH). The Comets go into the Region 2 game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Solon nudged Orange (Pepper Pike, OH), 12-8, in a non-league game.
