Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting James Irwin Jaguars (Colorado Springs, CO), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Thunderbolts confront the Buena Vista Demons (Buena Vista, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 26. Rye will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Demons enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Colorado Springs School (Colorado Springs, CO).
The Jaguars now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Atlas Preparatory School for a 3A Tri Peaks challenge on Tuesday, April 26. James Irwin will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-5.
