The Mount Vernon Bulldogs baseball team (Mount Vernon, WA), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA)
The Borderites now hold a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sehome for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 27. Blaine will confront a Mariners team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 4-6.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 25. Mount Vernon will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 4-9 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA).
