The Avon Lake Shoremen lacrosse team scored 11 points and limited the visiting Gilmour Academy Lancers to 8 in the Shoremen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Shoremen (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Avon (Avon, OH). The Eagles enter the Region 1 game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Avon edged Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 15-6, in a non-league game.
