Colorado High School Lacrosse - Montrose drops to Battle Mountain

April 23, 2022: Edwards, CO 81632

In Saturday's non-league test, the host Battle Mountain Huskies lacrosse squad scored a good 16-5 victory over the Montrose Indians.

The Huskies now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aspen for a 4A Western test on Monday, April 25. Battle Mountain will face a Skiers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Skiers record now stands at 5-3.

In their next game, the Indians face the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) in a 4A/5A Mountain test, on Tuesday, April 26. Montrose will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Miners come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 7-3 league win over Durango (Durango, CO).
