Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) and the host Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA), witnessed Central Columbia's softball squad prevail over Athens by a count of 18-2.

The Bluejays now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Montoursville for a Heartland II match on Monday, April 25. Central Columbia will face a Warriors squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Athens moves to 6-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Monday, April 25. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 1-0. Northeast Bradford won 14-10 in their recent non-league match against Troy (Troy, PA)
