Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Traders Point Christian Knights (Whitestown, IN), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Southport for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Covenant Christian will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Traders Point Christian falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Knights host North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 6-7.
