Illinois High School Softball - Deerfield can't hold off Hoffman Estates

The Hoffman Estates Hawks softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Deerfield Warriors to 10 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Hoffman Estates moves its record to 1-10 on the year. The Hawks travel to Fremd (Palatine, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a Mid-Suburban West game on Tuesday, April 26. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 10-3. Fremd lost 7-2 in their recent league game against Barrington (Barrington, IL)
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 25. Deerfield will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 2-12 record after their 10-2 league loss to De La Salle (Chicago, IL).
