Ohio High School Softball - Shelby can't get by Edison

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Edison Chargers (Milan, OH) softball team held off the visiting Shelby Whippets (Shelby, OH), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Edison moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to Willard (Willard, OH) to play the Crimson Flashes in a Sandusky Bay - Bay contest on Wednesday, April 27. The Crimson Flashes come into the contest with a record of 0-5. Willard lost 10-3 in their recent league contest against Margaretta (Castalia, OH)
In their next game, the Whippets play the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) in a Mid Ohio Athletic contest, on Tuesday, April 26. Shelby will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 13-0 league win over Marion Harding (Marion, OH).
