California High School Softball - El Capitan can't hold off Pleasant Grove

April 23, 2022: Merced, CA 95348

The Pleasant Grove Eagles softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host El Capitan Gauchos to 5 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Pleasant Grove improves its record to 12-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sheldon (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Huskies in a Delta League game on Tuesday, April 26. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 16-5. Sheldon lost 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)

In their next game, the Gauchos clash with the Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA) in a Central California Conference game, on Tuesday, April 26. El Capitan will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 8-10 record after their 1-0 league loss to Merced (Merced, CA).
