California High School Softball - Ventura bounces Golden Valley

The Ventura Cougars routed the host Golden Valley Grizzlies softball squad by a final score of 7-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Cougars (13-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Cavaliers go into the West Valley battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Cleveland was routed by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 22-0, in a league battle.
The Grizzlies now possess a 2-17 record. They play next when they travel to Vasquez for a non-league battle on Monday, April 25. Golden Valley will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-7.
