The Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) softball the visiting Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL), 10-8 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians (18-1) will now prepare for their bout against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Rockets go into the Kishwaukee River bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, Richmond-Burton held off Lakes (Lake Villa, IL), 12-5, in a non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 bout on Monday, April 25. Harlem will confront a Blue Thunder squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 7-3.
