Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Dukes now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

Early Lead For Marlington Seals Fate For Howland Tigers
Howland Tigers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-1 loss to Marlington on Saturday. Marlington scored on a home run by M Walder and a single by E Jackson in the first inning.
