The Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) softball routed the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 7-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors (12-1) will now prepare for their bout against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Homewood-Flossmoor was routed by Lockport (Lockport, IL), 11-2, in a league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Oswego for a Suburban Prairie - South bout on Monday, April 25. Romeoville will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-5.
