In Saturday's non-league contest, the Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA), by a margin of 11-0.

With the triumph, Shikellamy moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Braves travel to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Heartland I contest on Tuesday, April 26. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 10-1. Central Mountain won 5-2 in their recent non-league contest against Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA)

In their next game, the Green Wave play the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 25. Nativity BVM will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Golden Bears come into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA).
