Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frontier for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. Pioneer will face a Falcons squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN). The Falcons record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Whiting falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Plymouth (Plymouth, IN) to face the Pilgrims/Rockies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Pilgrims/Rockies enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Plymouth lost 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Warsaw (Warsaw, IN)
