In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Greenfield Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Northeast Vernon County Knights.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Jasper (Jasper, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Jasper by Liberal (Liberal, MO), 5-2, in a non-league game.
The Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Humansville (Humansville, MO). The Tigers go into the Class 1 District 7 game with a 7-10 record.
