The Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Joliet Central Steelmen to 0 in the Bengals league victory on Tuesday.

The Bengals now have a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield Central for a Suburban Prarie game on Thursday, April 25. Plainfield East will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-19.

The Steelmen (9-13) will now prepare for their game against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Thornton Fractional North dropped by Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
