The Lacey Township Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Liberty Lions to 0 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Donovan Catholic for a Shore - B South game on Thursday, April 25. Lacey Township will meet a Griffins team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ). The Griffins record now stands at 0-10.
The Lions (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ). The Bengals enter the Shore - B South game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Barnegat gained a win over Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
