Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Goodhue for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29.
With the loss, Lewiston-Altura falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
