Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Jaguars now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host New Prague for a non-league match on Thursday, April 25. Jefferson will play a Trojans team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Benilde-St. Margaret's drops to 2-1 on the season. The Red knights host Edina (Edina, MN) to play the Hornets in a non-league match on Thursday, April 25. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 2-0. Edina won 10-8 in their recent non-league match against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN)
