South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe Township for a GMC - Red match on Thursday, April 25.

With the loss, Bayonne moves to 13-1 on the season. The Bees travel to Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ) to meet the Hawks in a HCIAL - American match on Wednesday, April 24. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 1-9. Hudson Catholic lost 17-2 in their recent non-league match against Montclair (Montclair, NJ)
