The East Dubuque Warriors softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Southwestern Wildcats to 2 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, East Dubuque moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Fulton (Fulton, IL) to clash with the Steamers in a NUIC West game on Thursday, April 25. The Steamers come into the game with a record of 18-4. Fulton won 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI) in a SWAL game, on Thursday, April 25. Southwestern will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Chieftains come into the game with a 0-10 record after their 12-1 league loss to Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI).
