Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robertson County for a District 38 challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Pendleton County will battle a Black Devils squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Black Devils record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Grant County falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Williamstown (Williamstown, KY) to battle the Demons in a District 32 challenge on Friday, April 26. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Williamstown lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellevue (Bellevue, KY)
