The Southwest SD Raiders softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Kearny Komets to 5 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Southwest SD improves its record to 3-10 on the year. The Raiders travel to Sweetwater (National City, CA) to clash with the Red Devils in a Metro Pacific game on Friday, April 26. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 15-6. Sweetwater lost 6-1 in their recent league game against Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA)

In their next game, the Komets clash with the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) in a City Central game, on Thursday, April 25. Kearny will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 1-15 record after their 21-11 league loss to Crawford (San Diego, CA).
